The short version
- We collect your email address when you ask for the free starter pack, and the details you type into the quote form.
- We use it to send what you asked for and occasional emails about Function First resources. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- We never sell your information or share it for anyone else's marketing.
- We never receive student information.
Who we are
Function First publishes practical resources for special education teachers, case managers, behavior staff, and school leaders. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Function First, a trade name of Ovatio Tyrian LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. You can reach us anytime at info@functionfrst.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Starter pack signup: your email address.
- Quote and bulk order form: your name, work email, role, school or district, the product and quantity you're interested in, an optional needed-by date, whether you'll pay by purchase order, and any notes you add.
- Emails you send us: whatever you choose to include.
Purchase information
Purchases on our website are processed by our checkout provider, which acts as the merchant of record. It collects your name, email, and payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email, and what you bought. We never see or store full card numbers.
Purchases on Teachers Pay Teachers, Etsy, or Amazon are handled by those platforms under their own privacy policies.
Information collected automatically
- Advertising measurement: if you arrive from one of our Google ads, Google may use cookies to tell us an ad led to a signup. We use this only to measure which ads work.
- Fonts and hosting: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and our web host keeps standard server logs. Both involve your device's IP address and browser details.
How we use your information
- To send the starter pack and anything else you request.
- To send occasional emails about new Function First resources, updates, and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To reply to quote requests and process orders, invoices, and purchase orders.
- To understand which ads and pages are working, and to improve our resources.
- To keep business and tax records and meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with services that help us run Function First, and only as needed for them to do that work:

We may also share information if the law requires it, or with a successor if Function First is ever sold or transferred, under the protections in this policy.
Cookies and ads
We use Google's conversion measurement to see which ads lead to signups. You can limit ad personalization in your Google account's ad settings, or block cookies in your browser; the site works either way. Our ads are shown in the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep only what's needed to make sure you don't receive emails again. We keep quote and order records as long as needed for business and tax purposes.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe: use the link at the bottom of any email.
- See, correct, or delete your information: email us and we'll respond within 30 days. Some states give their residents specific privacy rights; we honor these requests no matter where you live.
Student information
Function First never receives, stores, or processes student information. Our products are templates you use inside your own school accounts. See our Student Data Statement.
Children
This website is for adult educators and families. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use reputable service providers, secure connections, and limited access to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care with what you share.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll also let subscribers know by email.
